    Mooring Tails or mooring Connections are special-length ropes that introduce elasticity in a high Modulus (low stretch) mooring & towing line, providing safer operations. Tails or pennants will provide additional elasticity to wire.
    Their primary use is to give elasticity in a low stretch line (High Modulus Synthetic Rope or Wire Rope) which reduces the dynamic loads and extends the service life.
    Tails will also distribute the loadings more evenly among the various mooring lines. Grommet construction to give higher breaking strength on request. The The eyes of Grommet tails are formed by lashings. (seizing the two rope ends together to form an eye). Our Mooring Tails are highly suitable for use in Mooring, STS & Towing operations. Tails are manufactured according to the latest regulations and recommendations of OCIMF, MEG4 for the safe mooring of tankers, LNG and LPG vessels.
    Our Tails also recommended for use in Cruise Ships, Bulk Carriers and ontainer Ships. The standard tail length for tankers, LNG and LPG vessels is 11m or 22m.
    Tail has eye splice at both ends, with standard lengths of 1,8m (6ft) and 0,9m (3ft) length. Mooring tails are available in Nylon, Polyester and PP/Pes combinatio.
